Welcoming the 2026 Equity Initiative Fellows!
We are proud to introduce the 2026 Equity Initiative Fellows, the 10th cohort of the Equity Initiative.
This cohort brings together 20 exceptional individuals from 11 countries across Southeast Asia and China, with expertise spanning public health, health systems strengthening, disability inclusion, migration health, mental health, urban resilience, food systems, innovation ecosystems, and community-led development.
From strengthening primary health care and advancing universal health coverage, to building inclusive innovation ecosystems, championing migrant and disability rights, and supporting conflict-affected and underserved communities, the 2026 Fellows are united by a shared commitment to advancing equity. Their work bridges policy, research, social innovation, service delivery, advocacy, and grassroots action, addressing the social, environmental, and systemic drivers that shape health and wellbeing across the region.
We are excited to welcome them into the Fellowship Induction Year (2026–2027), a year of experiential and blended learning designed to strengthen their leadership and deepen their impact. Congratulations to each Fellow on this outstanding achievement!
