Welcoming the 2026 Equity Initiative Fellows!

We are proud to introduce the 2026 Equity Inititiative Fellows, the 10th Equity Initiative cohort! The 2026 EI Fellows are 20 exceptional individuals representing 11 countries across Southeast Asia, bringing deep expertise across public health, health systems strengthening, disability inclusion, migration health, mental health, urban resilience, food systems, innovation ecosystems, and community-led development.

From strengthening primary health care and advancing universal health coverage, to building inclusive innovation ecosystems, advancing migrant and disability rights, and supporting conflict-affected and underserved communities, the 2026 Fellows are united by a shared commitment to advancing equity in their fields. Their work spans policy, research, service delivery, advocacy, and grassroots action- addressing the social, environmental, and systemic drivers that shape health and wellbeing across the region.

We are excited to welcome this cohort into their Induction Year, where they will embark on a shared journey of of experiential and blended learning, to better equip them to advance equity in their respective fields. Congratulations to each Fellow on this outstanding achievement!
