Nguyen Quynh Anh

Nguyen Quynh Anh is a changemaker dedicated to fostering transformative leadership and driving meaningful change in health equity. She co-founded the Viet Nam Community of Health Policy Research (VCHPR), where she leads a team committed to impactful research and advocacy that empowers communities and informs equitable health policies. Quynh Anh’s journey into health equity began during her tenures as the C-Suites of various hospitals in the leading private hospital network, where she witnessed the barriers underserved populations face in accessing quality care. This experience shaped her belief that health is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and inspired her to work toward transforming healthcare systems to prioritize the needs of marginalized communities. Besides VCHPR, her initiative is co-leading the Empowering Leadership program for public hospitals to share experiences and create a network of senior leaders in public hospitals. Through these projects, she endeavors to bring together attention to equitable health policies and leadership across diverse stakeholders. Her interests are in health payment systems that reduce out-of-pocket patient expenses and promoting value-based healthcare in Viet Nam. Quynh Anh is eager to collaborate with other Equity Initiative Fellows on impactful research and publications. She aims to deepen her understanding of health equity frameworks across Southeast Asia while contributing to meaningful systemic change.
