The Social Equity Network Thailand, or SENT, provides a channel for participants in the Equity Initiative, Ashoka Thailand, and the Foundation for Leadership Development Network for Health to exchange ideas and find opportunities to collaborate on social equity and justice issues. For EI Fellows, this network represents a step toward building a health equity community in Thailand. SENT held its first “Social Equity Impact Forum: on July 19-21, 2019 in Nakhon Pathom province. About 80 participants, including 7 EI Fellows, attended the forum, which featured international speakers, small group discussions on social equity and justice issues, and peer-to-peer learning activities. Participants were energized at the prospect of working together and have already looked into hosting the forum on a regular basis.
