Felia Salim

Felia Salim is a finance leader and social–environmental advocate whose work spans syariah and insurance, climate finance, and a socially just bioeconomy for regenerative agriculture, food systems, and the energy transition. She co-founded and led key governance initiatives—including the Partnership for Governance Reform, Transparency International Indonesia, and the Tifa Foundation—and serves on global boards such as the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, the Climate and Land Use Alliance, the &Green Fund, and the Australia–Indonesia Centre. She is Chair of the EcoNusa Foundation, advancing community resilience in eastern Indonesia, and served as Chair of GAIN (Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition) until May 2024. With over 35 years in finance, Felia was Vice President Director of Bank Negara Indonesia, where she helped drive the bank’s transformation and embed sustainability into risk management. She has also held senior roles at the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency, the Jakarta Stock Exchange, Jardine Fleming, and Citibank. Today, she advises on green finance, governance, and rights-based sustainability leadership, connecting capital, policy, and communities to deliver durable impact.
