Dr. GUI Yonghao is currently Professor of Pediatrics at Fudan University; Director of the Neonatal Clinical Research Lab affiliated with the Ministry of Health; and Chief Editor of the Chinese Journal of Evidence Based Pediatrics. He served as the Executive Vice President of Fudan University from 2017 to 2021, and as the President of Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University from 2010 to 2020. After graduating from Shanghai Medical University in 1982, and he has dedicated his career to pediatric clinical practice, medical education and research. He was the President of Children’s Hospital of Fudan University from 1999 to 2007, and served as the Chairman of the Chinese Pediatric Association from 2006 to 2012, as well as Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Pediatrics from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, he studied as a visiting scholar at Children's Hospital of University of Pennsylvania between 1991 and 1995. Professor GUI has made great contributions to research programs focusing on the molecular understanding of congenital heart disease and its early screening and prevention in the perinatal period. He has presided over numerous major projects including five grants from the National Natural Science Foundation.
