Nilar Myaing is a senior development professional with over two decades of experience advancing civil society of Myanmar, policy advocacy, and rights-based programming. She has held founding and advisory roles in leading civil society organizations and served on scholarship and grant selection boards for foundations and grant programs. Her expertise covers organizational development, strategic planning, risk management, women’s empowerment, and the rule of law. Nilar is also highly experienced in social and policy research, with particular strengths in political economy analysis, civic space, project and policy evaluation, and framework assessment. She has delivered evidence-based advocacy training to parliamentarians, government officials, and civil society leaders.
