Coco Liu is currently a Chevening Scholar conducting research in health policy and reform. She previously served as Lead of Corporate Social Responsibility, ESG and Sustainability for Philips Greater China, as well as lead of the Philips Foundation in China. At Philips, she led public benefit initiatives in accessible healthcare and health equity, and oversaw the ESG and sustainability strategy, with projects covering emergency response, public access defibrillation (PAD), maternal and child health, and primary healthcare system capacity building. She has extensive experience in healthcare decarbonization, circular economy for medical equipment, and climate health. With over 20 years of professional experience in Fortune 500 multinationals, she has held roles at IBM, Microsoft, and Dell. 

She has co-authored Modern Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine, served as Deputy Editor of the China Sustainable Development Assessment Report, and contributed to the China Emergency Blue Book. She also led the publication of the Sustainable Development and Public Access Defibrillation Report. 

She holds multiple advisory and leadership roles, including Standing Director and Secretary-General of the Sustainable Development Branch at the China Association for disaster & Emergency Rescue Medicine, advisor to the Beijing ESG Research Institute, and alumni council member of the Red Cross International College. 

Committed to youth development, she serves as a mentor in the Philips Future Women Leadership Program, the FFC Program co-launched by Columbia Global Center Beijing and Qi Center, and as a Capstone project mentor for Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University.
