BLANDINA ROSALINA BAIT
Blandina has 20 years’ experience working in development field including 10 (ten) years services in Nutrition related programme. Currently she is working with UNICEF FO Kupang as a nutrition specialist. Before joining UNICEF, she used to work with World Food Programme (WFP) in her capacity as Head of Kupang Field Office and Nutrition Coordinator of Nutrition Specific and Nutrition Sensitive Programme in which she led the transition of WFP operation from food aid to food assistance, ensured buy in from local government in terms of addressing Stunting and Moderate acute malnutrition, through maternal and child nutrition, school meals and food for asset programme by continuing and replicating it with local government budget allocation and regulation. In addition, she also used to work with Plan International, Save the Children UK, the World Bank and local NGO in various capacities, including in multi-disciplinary teams, as a team leader and as an individual. Blandina gained her master’s degree in international social development from University of East Anglia, UK and she also hold double degree in Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Educational Practice and qualification on Early Year’s Care and education from University of Anglia, UK.
