FAN JIANG
Fan JIANG MD. PhD is the Chair of the Deans Council in Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She is also a developmental and behavioral pediatrician, serving as the Director of the Early Childhood Development Research Center at the National Children’s Medical Center and the Vice Director of the Ministry of Education's Key Laboratory of Environment and Child Health. She obtained her MD and PhD degrees consecutively from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Following her academic pursuits, she worked as a Visiting Scholar at Wisconsin Children’s Hospital and later spent a year as a Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center. Currently, she chairs the Child Health Care Commission of the Chinese Pediatric Society and is appointed as the Chair of the advisory board of the Early Child Development Project, a joint initiative of the National Health Commission and UNICEF China. Her research focuses on social determinants of child health and early childhood development.
